The famous and legendary musical of Broadway “Porgy and Bess” in Peter Klein’s and Living Arts New York production, was successfully presented in two continuous shows in Moni Lazariston theater in Thessalonica.
30 actors - singers and 20 musicians contributed in this insuperable musical and theatrical creation of George Gershwin, travelling the spectators in a “negro” community of 1870 in Charleston of Southerner Carolina, with plenty of the most favorite blues and well-known jazz melodies (“Summertime”, “It ain't necessarily so” “I Got Plenty o' Nuttin” etc.)
The show’s incomings were being disposed for the construction of the support – restitution Unit for road accidents in ACHEPA hospital. BENDORA, is constantly undertaking initiatives that at one side contribute in the cultural events of the city with events of high aesthetics and at the other, they support the frail teams of our fellowmen. Bendora was sponsor of this concert supporting economically the organization and its success.
